About Paul Gray CBT
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) & Coaching Across Kent & Sussex
I offer CBT therapy and coaching for adults and adolescents (14+) from my practices in Tunbridge Wells and Crowborough, as well as online and through eco-therapy walking sessions in the Ashdown Forest.
This flexible approach allows you to choose the setting that feels most supportive — indoors, outdoors, or from the comfort of your home.
My practice receives referrals from GPs, mental health professionals, and former clients. I am also a registered provider for AXA, PPP, Aviva, Cigna, and Walking with the Wounded.
Types of Support I Offer
CBT Therapy (In Person)
Evidence-based CBT Therapy delivered face-to-face from my practices in Tunbridge Wells and Crowborough.
In-person sessions provide a calm, confidential space to explore difficulties such as anxiety, low mood, trauma, OCD, and stress, supported by the structure and clarity of traditional room-based CBT.
Meeting in person allows for focused, uninterrupted therapeutic work and a strong working alliance.
This option is ideal for clients who value direct interaction and the grounding presence of a dedicated therapy environment.
CBT Therapy Online provides the same high-quality, evidence-based therapy as in-person sessions, with the added convenience of attending from your home, workplace, or any confidential setting.
Online CBT Therapy offers flexibility without compromising depth, structure, or effectiveness.
Sessions are delivered securely ensuring privacy and confidentiality at every stage. It is particularly suited to clients with busy professional lives, mobility considerations, or those living outside Kent and Sussex.
I work with individuals across the UK and internationally, maintaining the same focused, professional therapeutic standards as face-to-face work.
Eco-Therapy (Walking Therapy)
Nature-based CBT sessions held in the Ashdown Forest.
Walking outdoors can reduce stress, improve emotional clarity, and help you feel more grounded and open during therapy.
The natural surroundings often make it easier to talk, reflect, and process difficult thoughts in a way that feels less intense and more manageable.
Combining structured Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with gentle movement in a tranquil setting can support emotional regulation, perspective, and deeper psychological insight. This approach is particularly helpful for clients who feel confined in traditional therapy rooms or who think more clearly when walking side by side.
Adolescent CBT (14+)
Specialist CBT Therapy for young people experiencing anxiety, school pressure, exam stress, low mood, confidence difficulties, and emotional overwhelm.
CBT Therapy helps young people understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours interact, giving them practical, age-appropriate tools to manage challenges more confidently.
Sessions are structured, evidence-based, and tailored to each individual’s needs, supporting them to develop emotional regulation skills, healthier thinking patterns, and stronger coping strategies.
The focus is not only on reducing immediate distress, but on building lasting resilience both in school and in everyday life.
Goal-focused coaching for personal and professional growth, using cognitive behavioural tools to build resilience, confidence, and high performance.
Coaching sessions are structured, strategic, and forward-looking, helping you clarify your goals, identify unhelpful patterns that may be holding you back, and take practical, measurable steps towards meaningful change.
By applying evidence-based cognitive behavioural techniques, you develop stronger thinking patterns, improved emotional regulation, and consistent habits that support sustainable success.
The focus is on real-world application — equipping you with psychological tools that enhance performance, decision-making, and long-term personal effectiveness.
Business & Workplace CBT

Available in person, online, or as part of wellbeing programmes.
Using evidence-based cognitive behavioural approaches, sessions focus on strengthening psychological flexibility, improving decision-making under pressure, and developing healthier patterns of leadership and team interaction.
